Jetset Magazine is a bimonthly luxury publication created exclusively for the most elite and prestigious audience and how they travel: Private Jets and Charters. With an average annual income of $5.3 million, Jetset readers represent a large concentration of buying power that equates to a corresponding volume of spending in all luxury categories.
We are expanding our Team and seeking to fill 5 Regional Marketing Executive positions. Marketing Executives are responsible for developing and deploying sales action plans which will significantly grow advertising revenue for each quarter. The ideal candidate for the Marketing Executive position will be someone who is well-connected in the print advertising industry, well connected with National accounts in product categories such as Arts and Collectibles, Automobiles, Aviation, Boating and Yachting, Casino and Entertainment, Real Estate, Travel, Watches and Jewelry, Wine and Spirits, etc. This is a very high visibility and growth oriented position. We are looking for someone who is very sharp, assertive; production focused sales executive who has a very strong track record in sales achievement, honesty/ integrity, intensity and drive. We are looking for someone who will be an outstanding representative of the company in the advertising and media world. This position is working with some fantastic professionals in a very friendly/ “family like” tight knit group and we are looking for someone who is every bit as balanced, trustworthy, loyal, hard working, aggressive and professional as the rest of the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile: 3+ years Advertising/Media sales
Proven record of success: Developing and delivering significant sales growth in a national market.
Solid knowledge of ad sales and developing new client relationships
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Strong time management skills
Experience in the Luxury market
Motivated self –starter with experience in seamlessly building a creative marketing campaign for clients
Book of corporate contacts is a plus
Familiarity with interactive advertising
History of exceeding sales goals
Creative approach to selling and problem-solving
Must be an excellent negotiator, proven closer and team player
